John 18:2—Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place because Jesus had often met there with his disciples.
Reflection for Good Friday, 02 April Verse
In this passage, John 18:2 tells us that Judas knows precisely where to find Jesus when the time had come to betray him. The story said that Jesus and his other disciples were praying during this incident. And Judas knows that they went to the prayer place they usually go.
Can you imagine yourself being betrayed by a foe while praying or doing your service to our Almighty God? Will you question our Lord God if that case happened to you? Would you not feel blessed if someone scams you while performing your duties to our Lord God? Is it difficult, right? But Jesus endures this for us in God’s will.
Our Prayer
Thank You, oh God Almighty, because You showed us Your priceless love through Christ. Thank you, Jesus, for love and care you have given us as your brothers and sisters in God. Oh God Almighty, we pray that you continue to guide and unveil our face to see more of the truth about You. Please accept us and clear our hearts from hatred and let us love one another! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Blessed Friday, Lounger!
