We are undeniably living in the future! Comparing the technology today from the ’20s up to ’90s, it’s truly amazing and unbelievable. I’m happy and lucky that I was born in the 80’ and growing up, I had the opportunity to experience old technologies and now, high-end technologies.

It is fun to experience using classic gadgets like a typewriter, analog landline phones, cassette radio, old television set, some steel flat iron to press clothes, cameras with films (me and my friends, used to go to studio shop to have our pictures developed), VHS and a lot more!! Classic pieces of stuff.
Come the year 2000 to date; our technology has ramped up to a higher level. It gives you the effortless and proof-stress convenience at an incredible level. Just a few clicks on your smartphones, you already have paid your utility bills without driving and spending gas, effort to follow the long queue, etc. Yes! Few clicks on your smartphone, all set. Hence, let me share some applications I frequently use and increase my productivity both professionally and personally.

Note: This blog is NOT paid or Sponsored by any of the brand mentioned. The aim is to share you some of my favorite applications which you might already been using or want to use and try.
9 Brilliant Apps I Use in my Smartphone
Canva
I love sharing and designing graphics. Canva is my partner on this. It’s free, easy-to-use, and it has a wide range of selections. If you are into B2B marketing, blogging, sales, real estate, print-ads, and any alike profession line, you might want to try this app. Canva is a free graphic design platform that lets users create social media graphics, presentations, posters, and other visual content. It is available both on the web and mobile.
WordPress
Since I do blog through WordPress, clearly I have its application on my mobile. Who’s WordPress Blogger doesn’t? I can efficiently access and moderate comments and feedback. At the same time, it gives me the liberty to read and provide feedback to my co-bloggers. It’s easy for me to browse and access rich articles, contents, and other information to help me professionally and personally.
Tap Scanner
It’s a free mobile application accessible to both Apple and Google stores. Tap Scanner is an easy camera document scanner with high-quality PDF output. You can quickly turn your legal documents or any other important documents into PDF format even without using the traditional scanner. Combine with a high-end smartphone and its capability to provide high-resolution formatted documents, I can guarantee that your required PDF documents can be shared with the right recipients without hassles.
Samsung Notes
I love using this application because it allows me to quickly note proverbs, verses, quotes, market list needs, and other small reminders in my phone. You can jot all kinds of ‘notes’ you need and want to remind yourself. I also use Samsung Notes when drafting social media posts or relevant messages to others.
Paypal
Paypal operates globally and allows its users to do online payments. Its system supports online money transfers. It also serves as an electronic option to traditional paper methods like checks and money orders. Due to COVID-19, most people are required to stay at home. This financial application helps me manage my payments and other financial transactions effortless.
Zoom
COVID-19 has driven many companies globally to work at home. Zoom is one of the leading video call conferencing applications today which allows these companies and even some government agencies to continue some of their works online. Scheduling meetings and conferences can be stress-free while we navigate our way through this health crisis time. Thanks for this brilliant application. I also use Zoom when speaking and video-calling my family and relatives globally.
WA Business
I use WhatsApp Business both professionally and personally. Messaging and sending required documents can be easily done through WhatsApp. The business version allows you to customize your contact details and provide service or product catalogs to your clients. If you are a small business owner located in the Middle East, Europe, Asia or North America WA Business can be a useful platform for you. While in the Philippines, mostly use the Viber application.
Slack
To get things done easily and fast, both large and small companies must have and use user-friendly means of communication. Slack is one of the best applications that enable organizations’ collaborations and communications today. Sharing of links, email threads, files, and other important information to your colleagues and teammates can be easy and efficient through Slack.
Trello
Being organized is the key to productivity. Planning and listing of your to-do-tasks are significant to ensure that you are always on track. Trello is my buddy on this! I use this both professionally and personally. It’s a web-based Kanban-style list-making application which is a new subsidiary of Atlassian. It’s an online corkboard. If you are managing a team, you can easily assign tasks and track the progress of each task assigned. You can organize your projects at work, at home, or anywhere at any given time. Trello will give you a good bird’s eye view of what projects need to be accelerated or focused on.
My Takeaway!
There you have it! I hope I gave you an idea of what applications and platforms you will use. If you are already using these applications, please share your thoughts and tricks! I’d love to hear from you! On the other hand, remember that by solely using these applications would not increase your productivity. It would be best to combine them with your proper mind-setting, self-discipline, and determination (in completing your tasks) to boost your productivity at a higher level.
