Sinners Are Blessed

“Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”

Mark 2:17

What a lovely passage! It is filled with hope and admiration. This Bible verse from Mark Chapter 2 is one of my favorites because it reminds me of who I was and who I am.

Apparently, in the eye of our Creator, I am absolutely nothing. Regardless of whether we are rich, poor, healthy, sick, famous, or unknown, and so forth, we are all the same- sinners. We are only human, and we fall short. We strive to be moral and spiritual leaders, but we still fail and sin.

Despite, according to the verse, Jesus himself came for the Jews! And because of his beautiful divine works, even gentiles like us benefited. He pulled us out of the depths of transgression. He rescued us from a bleak illness. All we must do is repent, observe him, listen to his message, and act quickly following his teaching.

One of the reasons I write is for this reason. To serve as a reminder of how life can be without faith, without God. If we choose to do what we desire, this will only lead us to defeat. But if we choose to be humble, understand and accept our flaws, repent, and make better decisions that please our Creator, we will be showered with more grace.

I hope and pray that this content will inspire people of all ages to believe in God’s will, seek the truth, and consistently do acts of love!

Sinners are blessed because GOD’s calling is for them through Jesus! You and I (We) are blessed!
