Despite concrete planning and hard work to avoid failure, we still tend to fall and feel the emptiness inside us. Some people go outside partying to numb themselves and get up again. Some may just let the rain pour down themselves while thinking about how to get up again. Some just turned on the radio and listen to the tune of their life.
However, when we hit rock bottom, it is the best time for us to contemplate and turn ourselves into a much deeper sense. Here are five refreshing parts of King David’s songs, which can inspire and motivate us to find not our own will but the will of our God that will lead us to triumph.
5 Psalms: Songs of Prayers
Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint; heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony. – Psalms 6:2
Never be afraid of failing, for you are human, and you will fail. However, never lose hope, for the best shield and recovery is to kneel and pray to our Lord God Almighty. Agony may fill your heart, but with God’s grace, the light of hope will pour into your heart again.
But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. – Psalms 19:12
You may hide your false intentions to others, but in the eyes of our Lord, He knows everything. Have the courage to confess to Him all your flaws and start renewing yourself with His grace of mercy. Every day is a chance for us to renew and be born again.
You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. – Psalms 32:7
Withdraw from being coward for our Lord is the Almighty God; He created heaven and earth. Give your trust and faith to Him alone, and you will be delivered from the menace.
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever. – Psalms 45:6
Do not stop praising God, for He gave you the air to breathe, the mornings for you to wake up, and the nights for you to get rest. Coat yourself in humility and silence, for His love for you will last forever.
LORD Almighty blessed is the one who trusts in You. – Psalms 84:12
Only trust the Lord, for He will be done on heavens and earth. Remember that your plans may fail, but His plans on you will never fail. Lean your heart to Him alone, and you will never be left behind.
