One of the best travel destinations in the Philippines aside from wonderful beaches is to go in provinces. One place we have visited is Vigan City. It is located on the west coast of Luzon island and it’s known for its preserved Spanish colonial and Asian architecture.
Exclusive Hotel Yet Budget Friendly in Vigan City
So, my hubby and I decided to visit and explore the old city. When we reached there, we stayed at Hotel ni Among.
Where is Hotel ni Among?
Hotel ni Among is located at Rivero St, Ilocos Sur Vigan. This hotel is set in a leafy area on the city outskirts and I can tell that it’s a relaxed budget hotel which has an easy access to shopping and entertainment areas at Calle Crisologo. The hotel has down-to-earth dorm which offers bunk beds, TVs, and ceiling fans. It also has low-key rooms feature private or suite bathrooms. Facilities include an outdoor pool, event space and a terrace, as well as parking. Campsites are available too.
We just loved our room, it was a Kubo (nipa hut) like room and it has its own bathroom, and yes, it’s air-conditioned! It was relaxing and you will feel the nature around you. Staffs were friendly and accommodating too.
The outdoor pool was beautiful and cliquey. We took a night swim and it was very private as if we rent the whole thing just for us. Perhaps maybe because when we visited there, it was the month of June hence it’s not peak season. So, I strongly recommend this month to visit for those people who want peaceful and exclusive hotel experience without paying extravagant amount of money.
By the name itself, “Hotel ni Among”, it’s Filipino-Spanish culture with a touch of west. Visit and explore its wonders!
