Spiritual Goal Achieved. My First Step!

Faith is something unseen, yet you have a strong belief in it. Faith is a strong, blessed feeling of having self-awareness and wisdom that there is a Most Supreme Being of all.

This is my first step, in my opinion. I’m not religious, but I consider faith to be present in all aspects of my life. I think it’s important because it has a huge impact on our decision-making, either big or small.

I grew up in a secular Christian community, and I was molded to thrive in practicing humility, love for others, and doing an act of kindness as much as possible. As believers, and to thrive better, I understand that we must seek the truth and will of the Most Supreme Being of all – God.

My First Step to Achieve a Spiritual Goal

So, I have set an amazing goal for myself to read the Bible entirely because the Bible is one of the world’s holiest books. Others do not believe the Bible as sacred, but that is their preference. On the contrary, I am happy to share that it was an incredible feeling. So, yes! I have completed reading the Bible as of this writing.

I felt freedom.

Reading and completing the Bible is a difficult task for me! To be honest, I didn’t understand most of it, but I didn’t care. This is just the beginning. My ultimate goal is to finish reading the Bible and gain good insights to pique my interest. And do it again and again.

It was a difficult but rewarding journey. It may appear tedious and dull, but it is extremely satisfying. I felt freedom! Completing the Bible piqued my interest in knowing and understanding more about God’s will. Yes, this is the first step for me. I don’t aspire to be a Bible scholar or religious genius. Still, it’s a wonderful feeling to cultivate our spirituality and relationship with the Most Supreme Being of all – God.

My humble intention.

Haven’t you noticed that there is so much going on in our world these days, resulting in division, hostility, arrogance, and intolerance? People despise each other. It’s full of sadness. What I want to do is help myself and others become better individuals.

My humble intention is to inspire you, especially today’s youth, to do the same. Set your spiritual goal. I strongly recommend you read the Bible fully as your first step.

I’ve noticed that most of us waste a lot of time online, stalking people on Facebook and other social media platforms. We assume that watching funny videos will help us get rid of our despair and other tensions. Make us feel better. Probably yes, such things can be useful at times but definitely not in the long run.

Reading, researching, and contemplating God’s words and will, on the other hand, is more rewarding than anything else in this world. His words will provide clarity and answers to your questions. God’s words will inspire you to become better and better every day, so much so that you will be able to shine and inspire others. I believe that’s beautiful!

My humble invitation.

I’d like to invite you to feed your soul. Nourish your soul with God’s words. Let your heart overflow with joy! Get rid of your fears, anger, and loneliness. Succumb yourself in God’s grace.

Let’s quote this beautiful passage Mathew 16:26, “Jesus said, “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?”. 

Apparently, this world’s riches and comfortability will not give us the ease we ought. Instead, it will encourage us to desire more temporal wealth and material bliss that can easily make our souls perish. I found out that only our Glorious Creator can provide us with the ease we ought.

For God is omnipotent. He is the endless resource of all.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. – Isaiah 40:28

So, start now! It’s not too late. Use your high-tech gadgets in a fruitful way of rejuvenating your soul. God is patiently waiting for you. He loves and cares for you!
